Aseismic ridge

An aseismic ridge is an undersea ridge that is not seismically or volcanically active. Examples of aseismic ridges are the Walvis Ridge, the Rio Grande Plateau, the Kerguelen Plateau, the Seychelles Ridge and the Lomonosov Ridge.
