Environmental and Social Issues in Economics is an integrated collection of entries by scholars at the Global Development and Environment Institute (GDAE – pronounced "gee-day") at Tufts University. GDAE scholars have produced more than a dozen books and numerous articles, policy documents, and discussion papers, including the six-volume series, Frontier Issues in Economic Thought. In Environmental and Social Issues in Economics we have collected the Institute's work that deals with the environmental and social dimensions of economic systems.
