The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is the leading body for the assessment of climate change, established by the United Nations to provide the world with a clear, balanced view of the present state of understanding of climate change. The main activity of the IPCC is to provide in regular intervals Assessment Reports of the state of knowledge on climate change. The latest, "Climate Change 2007," the Fourth Assessment Report (AR4), is presented here in its original, un-edited version.
