Alicia Freitag is a student at Texas Tech University studying Business and Natural History and Humanities. Alicia enjoys photography and the outdoors. Alicia participated in the Encyclopedia of Earth Student Science Communication Project while taking a course entitled “Advanced Fieldcraft” that focused on the Rio Grande River. She spent a week on a canoe trip through Boquillas Canyon in Big Bend National Park as part of this class.
