Dr. Andrew P. Schissler holds a Doctor of Philosophy and B.S. in Mining and Earth Systems Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, a M.B.A. from Regis University. He is currently the Executive Vice President of Engineering at West Hawk Development Corporation. He has written for the The Encyclopedia of Energy an article on strip mining.
