Dagmar Budikova is an Associate Professor of Geography at Illinois State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Climatology from the University of Calgary, Canada. Dr. Budikova serves as the Coordinator of the Hydrogeology Graduate Program and GIS & Cartographic Services. Her work in climatology has contributed to our knowledge of climate variability and change across North America. Dr. Budikova's doctoral work explored the climatic impacts associated with the El Nino/Southern Oscillation phenomenon across western Canada. Her current interests include the study of the interactions between various climatic teleconnections and the associated impacts on weather patterns across the United States. Dr. Budikova holds a bachelors degree in Environmental Science from the University of Toronto.
