Deane Wang is an associate professor at the University of Vermont. He has taught courses in ecosystem ecology, landscape ecology, and race and culture in natural resources. Working with graduate students (ecological planners and field naturalists), he teaches Techniques and Approaches to Conservation, Ecosystem Ecology, a Graduate Teaching Practicum, and is developing a new course on Survival Ecology. He has degrees from Harvard, Cornell and Yale Universities, and worked as a research associate at Yale and the Institute for Ecosystem Studies, as an assistant professor at the University of Washington, and as an associate and acting dean at the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources.
