Isabelle Côté is a tropical marine ecologist at Simon Fraser University, near Vancouver, Canada, with interests ranging from behavioral ecology to conservation biology. Her research focuses on documenting and understanding large-scale ecological change on coral reefs. She is particularly interested in marine protected areas and what makes them effective at slowing or reversing undesirable change.
