Professor John Callewaert directs the Institute for Community and Environment at Colby-Sawyer College in New Hampshire. His responsibilities include coordinating teaching, organizing internships, facilitating community-based research initiatives, and identifying external funding sources. Areas of interest include environmental sociology, environmental justice, environmental ethics, and environmental policy. He received his Ph.D. from the School of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Michigan.
