Lauren Battershell studied Mathematics and Biological Sciences at Texas Tech University where she was a member of the Honors College. She will be pursuing medical studies at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Lauren participated in the Encyclopedia of Earth Student Science Communication Project while taking an Honors Seminar entitled “Environmental Science 2007”.
