A practicing international lawyer and policy analyst, Tatjana ("Tanya") Rosen is currently engaged as a consultant with the World Conservation Union (IUCN) on high seas policy issues. Her research interests focus on the law of the sea and endangered species policy in the United States and abroad.
Tanya worked as an Assistant Professor in International Law at the Universita' Statale of Milano. She has been a research fellow at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School and the Project on International Courts and Tribunals at New York University.
Tanya holds a JD (summa cum laude) from the Universita' Statale of Milano, an LL.M from Harvard Law School, a Certificate in Conservation Biology from Columbia University and an MS in Environmental Policy from the Bard Center for Environmental Policy at Bard College. She has practiced international law at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York and Studio Legale Chiomenti in Milano. She also studies grizzly bears: she works as a wildlife technician for the Interagency Grizzly Bear Study Team in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.
