Thomas Russ received his B.S. in Environmental Studies from SUNY University at Buffalo and completed his graduate work in public policy at Kutztown University. In addition to numerous papers, he is the author of Redeveloping Brownfields (1999) and the “Site Planning and Design Handbook (2002). Mr. Russ has more than 20 years of private sector experience as project manager and principle in environmental planning, design and consulting firms. He is currently professor of environmental technology at the College of Southern Maryland and a licensed Landscape Architect.
