Biography:
David Casagrande is an Assistant Professor of environmental anthropology at Western Illinois University. He has published numerous articles and book chapters on topics such as human ecosystems and landscapes, information ecology, ecological restoration that explicitly includes people, environmental policy, and medicinal plants used in Chiapas Mexico. He was Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Ecological Anthropology from 1998-2003, and is currently an Associate Editor for the Journal of Ethnobiology and Ethnomedicine.
