Biography:


ELISA TRIANA holds a B.A. in Environmental Sciences from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Madrid, Spain) and an M.A. in Environmental Management and Administration. She completed her B.A. studies at Pierre&Marie Curie Université (Paris, France) and an internship at Institute Pierre Simon Laplace des Sciences de l’Environnement (Paris, France) in marine conservation biology.

As an environment consultant, she has experience on Environmental Impact Assessment of wind and solar farms installation. She has extensive knowledge in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and background experience in Environmental Restoration Projects as well as in Ecodesign & Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for industrial ecology.

As an intern in Latin America and the Caribbean Department at NatureServe, she assisted NatureServe’s classification of ecological systems for Latin America, ecosystem mapping of Latin America and Africa and training course implementation of environmental policy in Paraguay. She supported the creation of the Latin America and the Caribbean Collection of the Encyclopedia of Earth (EoE) sponsored by The National Council for Science and the Environment (NCSE) , Washington DC.
