Biography:
Francesca is a Ph.D. student in Environmental Science at the Bicocca Milan University in Italy. Her research is focused on the application of sustainable development indicators, particularly of the Genuine Progress Indicator (GPI), the Ecological Footprint and the Human Development Index (HDI). Francesca spent a year of her doctoral program as a visiting student at the Gund Institute of Ecological Economics at the University of Vermont. She holds a B.S. in Business administration and a M.S. in Local Sustainable Development.
