Biography:
Hally Bissell Stone, a native of Buffalo, NY, is an undergraduate student at Boston University in the class of 2011. She is majoring in Astronomy & Physics and Marine Science. She plans on pursuing a doctorate in Physical Oceanography. In her spare time, she plays the oboe in BU's concert band and in various chamber groups, plays and coaches lacrosse, and downhill skis. She became involved in the Encyclopedia of Earth through her Introduction to Environmental Science class taught by Dr. Cutler J. Cleveland.
