Jennifer graduated from Laval University, Quebec City, in forest management (1999).  She has worked as a forester for a small private consulting firm outside Montreal, Quebec, and then for the Oregon Department of Forestry.  These experiences have created a strong interest in the interrelationships among social, ecological and economic impacts of natural resource policies.  She hopes to contribute to the development of new tools to improve policies to assist forest landowners in maintaining and/or improving their forest’s productivity in a sustainable manner.
