Justin Birzon is an attorney admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut. Currently, Justin is earning his LLM in environmental law at Pace Law School in White Plains, NY.
After receiving his BA in environmental studies at the University of Rochester he went on to earn his JD from Albany Law School. Justin is presently working to analyze emerging issues in sustainable development law. He is also working with Urban Green Energy, Inc., a wind turbine manufacturer based in New York City on the many legal issues that turbine owners face.
Justin is also an Issue Editor for the New York State Bar Association’s journal, The New York Environmental Lawyer. Additionally, he recently coached a 7th grade mock trial team to the semi-finals in the Annual Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition in the New York City.
Justin believes that educating local officials is the most profound way to empower municipalities to address climate change and sustainability.
