User Profile

Marietta Loehrlein is a Professor of Horticulture at Western Illinois University. She has published a book, Home Horticulture:Principles and Practices.  She is developing a website, http://sustainablelandscaping.us to address developments in sustainable landscaping practices and present them to instructors and students. She earned her B.S. and M.S. at The University of Arizona, and her Ph. D. at The Pennsylvania State University. She has published research articles in HortScience, HortTechnology, and The Journal of the American Society for Horticultural Science. Her popular science articles appear regularly in regional publications in west central Illinois.
