Biography:
Mark Bishop is the author of the preparatory chemistry text An Introduction to Chemistry. He has also created many web-based tools to support the text, including animations, tutorials, glossary quizzes, chapter maps, PowerPoint presentations, movable molecules, and more. Mark has taught chemistry at Monterey Peninsula College in Monterey, California since 1975. He is very happily married to a math instructor and has three wonderful children (32-, 15-, and 7-years-old).
