Orion Kriegman is at the Tellus Institute where he organizes and manages the work of the Great Transition Initiative. His background is in conflict transformation and democracy-building efforts, with extensive experience as a mediator, team builder, and network organizer. Previously, he coordinated the creation of the Urban Ecovillage Network, a collaborative network linking world-wide efforts to create sustainable urban communities; was Project Officer for the Reflecting on Peace Practice Project, a learning network that gathered best practices for peace building in internal armed conflicts; and worked in Guatemala with the Organization of American States to foster dialogue between government, civil society, and business. Kriegman holds a Masters in Public Policy and Urban Planning from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
