Petr Drahota is an earth scientist at the Charles University and Academy of Sciences, both in Prague, Czech Republic. His current research interests focuse on mineralogical and biogeochemical aspects of degraded lands, mine sites rehabilitation and mine wastes. He is particularly fascinated by biogeochemistry and environmental mineralogy of arsenic.
He earned his Ph.D. in environmental geochemistry from the Charles University, in 2008. He is currently a Research Assistant at the Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Mineral Resources, Faculty of Science, Charles University and an environmental geochemists at the Institute of Geology, Academy of Sciences.
