Satya Mohapatra, who holds a Ph.D. degree in Environmental Chemistry, has extensive experience in environmental policy and applied environmental research. He has been able to successfully put together his scientific expertise with national and global environmental policy perspectives. A researcher with the Canadian Institute for Environmental Law and Policy (CIELAP), Toronto since January 2003, Dr. Mohapatra has worked on many environmental projects in India, the Netherlands and Canada and has published several research papers in international scientific journals including Journal of Environmental Management, International Journal of Water Resources Development, Water Policy, The Environmentalist, Journal of Environmental Systems, Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, and Journal of Environmental Science and Health. He has presented papers at conferences in North America, Asia and Europe.
