Sandra S. Arismendez (B.S., M.S. Biology) is a Ph.D. Candidate and Harte Fellow at the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC). Sandra is currently pursuing a degree in the Coastal and Marine System Science Ph.D. Program at TAMU-CC, an interdisciplinary degree that integrates traditional scientific disciplines to create a holistic understanding of coastal and |marine environments. Her research interests include estuarine ecology, watershed hydrology, and water quality monitoring, assessment and restoration with an emphasis on coastal nutrient enrichment and anthropogenic impacts.
