Dr. Semra Çoruh is Assistant Professor of Environmental Engineering at the University of Ondokuz Mayıs in Turkey. She received BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in environmental engineering from University of Ondokuz Mayıs. Her principal research is concerned with developing beneficial reuse applications for industrial wastes. Particular possibilities exist for the use of these in construction. Other ongoing research interests include the stabilization/solidification of hazardous wastes as a pre-landfill treatment process, leach testing, waste minimization and utilization, and industrial wastewater treatment. Her work has resulted in about 20 technical article and reports.
