Taylor (Tate) Bushell is a graduate student in the Field Naturalist Program at the University of Vermont. Originally from New Jersey, Tate has traveled to most parts of The United States and is now happy to be living in New England. He is interested in bringing people closer to nature through experiential education, nature immersion, wilderness trekking and writing. He is currently working with the Nature Conservancy to help manage pine barrens at Ossipee (NH) and Waterboro (ME). He started working as a naturalist at the Glen Helen Ecology Institute in Yellow Springs, Ohio in the summer of 2007.
