Clayton N. Burne is a freelance writer and blogger, covering such diverse subjects as zoology and criminology. He spent his early years as a research intern (Aves) at the Durban Natural Science Museum, a position that led to the undertaking of Environmental Impact Assessments on the Katse Dam, Lesotho (Lesotho Highlands Water Project).

Mr Burne spent 5 years as a Safari Guide operating throughout southern and eastern Africa before relocating to the United Kingdom. He has studied Physics, Criminology and Law through the Open University. He is currently employed as the Technical Manager of Ophthalmology at Accuvision Ltd.
