Biography:
Chris Van Nice is the GIS Coordinator and Staff Cartographer for the Geography Program at Texas Tech University. His research interests include groundwater resources in arid and semiarid environments, stream channel morphology, and land use patterns over time. He specializes in Geographic Information Systems and cartographic design, including all aspects of geospatial technologies such as GPS, aerial/satellite imagery and remote sensing of the environment.
