The Amundsen Abyssal Plain is one of the three abyssal plains that comprise the Pacific-Antarctic Basin. The two other such plains are the Bellingshausen Abyssal Plain in the Bellingshausen Sea and the Mornington Abyssal Plain. The Amundsen Abyssal Plain, situated under the Amundsen Sea is located at approximately 150o W. As all abyssal plains, this abyssal plain lies at deep ocean depths in a depth zone referred to as the Abyssal zone.
